As a measure of the Private Security Industry Act, after the 20 th March 2006 it will be illegal for security firms to operate unless their employees hold one of the newly issued Security Industry Authority Licenses.

Every major aspect of security work is affected by this new licensing requirement, but there is a disturbing trend developing, which indicates that many privately owned security firms are prepared to flout the law and operate using unlicensed staff.

Despite clear warnings from the authorities that penalties will be severe, the cost and time implications of accrediting security staff appear to have put off many companies from going through the process.

At Combined Security Services, we were amongst the first organisations in the region to secure full SITO accreditation for all our staff and to apply for full SIA approved contractor status. It's another measure of the emphasis we place on doing the job right

Our mission is to deliver services built on quality, good value and integrity
